K-State Alumni Scholarship

Dorito won an Alumni Scholarship to K-State at the Catbacker Dinner tonight. They offer $150/year renewable--plus he liked the free T-shirt and fried chicken supper! The evening was made more fun by a speech by the Band Director, who told stories from the football sidelines of this 9-0 season!! Hilarious how he chirps at the opposing team with his band microphone. And how nearly all 350 band members come to the fieldhouse at 2 a.m. to meet the team when it comes home after "away" football games. Pretty neat testimony!
