Polar Bear and Winger celebrated their afternoon "off" by building a model Fokker D-VII German aircraft. The finished model is only 2.5" long of thin metal and had 12 snap-together parts including propeller, tires, and steering wheel. Shown here beside our souvenir car with a "Ford" pressed penny in the driver seat.
Some needle-nose pliers proved to be VERY useful in the assemby of this miniature plane. Winger is still working on his... It turned out to be a great little project from the Henry Ford Museum (gift from the Verbick family)!
