I am having more than my share of Jane Austen events lately: here's a spread in Bonner Springs and the topic of discussion was "Which of Jane Austen's men do you like best? and least?" We hammered Henry Crawford and Frank Churchill. We honored Rev. Austen, the author's father, and the ever-optimistic Henry Tilney. Our general resolution was that the world hasn't changed much in modern times in terms of corrupt male antagonists.
