It was a busy weekend for Schmidlings at home in Missouri, too. Meggar wrote a 4-page art critique for her smmer course on Victorian Women. Polar Bear and Winger hosted a costume-making workshop for a few Boy Scouts. Captain and I attended late mass with the kids, plus the early mass where I am scheduled to play the organ. Attended an Eagle Scout Ceremony in the middle of all that.
Later, we went to watch the New Generation Singers perform at Brookdale Presbyterian. Excellent praise music! Afterwards we enjoyed lunch with Constance and Bill. Such a treat when I don't have to cook on the weekends!
My Two Braves
As soon as we finished a lazy afternoon swim, the twins were back to their Mic-o-Say costumes. As you can see, they now have everything completed for the Wednesday ceremony this week!
