Trustworthiness

If government officials (at any level) want to be trusted, then they should act in a manner that is trustworthy! I guess I was so busy teaching virtues to my children, that I thought everyone else was still on the "Character" kick. Guess I'm showing my age because now the media says you can't push your virtues on others. My vote is for the Boy Scout law, adopted on July 9, 1910:
A Scout is --
trustworthy,
loyal,
helpful,
friendly,
courteous,
kind,
obedient,
cheerful,
thrifty,
brave,
clean, and
reverent.
I think it means something that Trustworthy is at the top of the list. And we plan to include "All of the above."
