Water Olympics for Youth Group

We filled 400+ water balloons and welcomed 21 kids to our first Youth Group!  It started with a cookout, then the games began:  spoon relay, volleyball, towel-toss, blind-folded squirt-gun battles, long launcher, frozen T-shirt contest, then a free-for-all water fight. 

Fr. Matthew Benjamin (former Marine) won first place with the launcher after hitting the neighbor's garage, which was a block away!  Then he blessed holy water jars for each of the youth to take home.  Good message! Good fun!
