Memorial Day for Schmidlings

We will try to visit the graves in Easton, Kan. sometime this weekend. We will decorate the grave of our infant son Kendall, alongside  Gr. Gr. Leo (who served in WWI). There's also Maurice Sr. and Vincent (both served in WWII). There are few Schmidling men left -- so I thought it would be a good time to post the recent photo of Captain with his cousin Craig (actually his dad and Dale are the cousins). Luckily, they both have sons to carry on the family name ... and to continue the KSU tradition. I guess I like this photo so much because I like unity.
