Wonders of the World-Wide Web

It is a surreal experience to book trains and flights in Sterling and Euros from my desk in Missouri. The world-wide web was not an option when I first went to Britain in 1989 nor much help in 1999 either. Today, Meggar and I are checking Mapquest for the driving distance from Dusseldorf to Paris in hopes of hiring a car for that portion of our journey. And we read about the entrance price and times for the Jane Austen Centre in Bath, as we hope to make this important day trip from Jutta's house during our stay in England. HOW EXCITING and nerve-wracking at the same time.
